Nike Senior Specialist - Brand Marketing Operations Digital Tools - North America in Beaverton, Oregon

In alignment with the Nike brand, our North America Brand Planning & Operations Team strives to shape the brand through distinctive, emotive, and impactful stories and experiences that lead the future of sport.

As part of the North America Brand Marketing (NABM) organization, our team works cross-functionally to activate marketing programs that help propel the brand and the business into the future. We are responsible for bringing organization, clarity, and process excellence to deliver maximum consumer impact. We enable this by creating the time and space required for the organizational brilliance through scalable, shared services to support the full marketing organization, driving accountability in planning, timing, finance, and embracing creativity and innovation as we deliver elevated brand standards. Our combined, end-to-end team will provide the organizational capability and uphold the operational rigor needed to drive marketing excellence.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

As the Senior, Brand Marketing Operations Digital Tools North America (NA), you will be a member of the NA Brand Marketing Operations team, and specifically within the Program Development & Capabilities (PD&C) team. The primary focus of this role is to manage and develop a process for leveraging key digital tools across NABM. This person will be the owner of the digital tools we use in NABM, like Airtable, Figma, Box, etc., responsible for the day-to-day management of the tools, educating teams how we use them, developing forward looking innovation roadmaps for each and identifying new tools to serve the organization moving forward.

The candidate is a strategic problem-solver who knows how to influence teams in a matrixed organization to implement end-to-end process. In this role, thought leadership, collaboration, and clear communications are key. It is critical to be curious, technical, analytical and have attention to detail. They can think holistically and have a deep understanding of each tool and how the NABM team should utilize the tool to drive the work forward. They have a strong desire to lead and evolve the way we work to truly shape the brand for the consumer.

This is a new role in NABM, and you will have the opportunity to recommend and implement new strategies, innovate and develop solutions to evolve and simplify our digital tools in collaboration with our Operations teams.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Support: Manage intake support requests across our NABM team, prioritizing requests and executing based on need, if it aligns to our overarching strategy

  • Project Management Tools: Consolidate project trackers into one project management tool across NABM, and determine necessary workflows to automate SLAs, and streamline workback schedules

  • Manage Vendors: maintain relationships with digital tool vendors for optimized use of tool and implementation

  • Partner with Global Marketing: represent NABM with Global Ops & Martech partners to showcase how NABM utilizes digital tools, working with Global to create best practices

  • Reporting: Create and streamline weekly leadership reporting based on the needs of the teams

  • Data Analysis: Dig into where teams can better track their work to ensure accurate campaign health and how we can ensure teams are doing the right work, and allowing for rest/recovery

  • Best Practices/Standards: Continually improve best practices and standards for the teams to elevate their game

  • Training: Train individuals + teams on how to track their work, when/where they need to update, as well as the why it is important

  • Collaboration: Work with other PD&C workstreams to streamline, align, and simplify towards E2E workflows within our Tools

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

Reporting to the Director of Program Development & Capabilities, you will work closely with all Operations teams including the Consumer Planning and Ops team, the Creative Planning & Ops team, the Digital & Integrated Media Ops team, and the Retail & Partners Ops team. You will partner with all teams in North America Brand Marketing and in key cities to ensure that the improvements we deliver accelerate our ability to achieve our business goals.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree required in the relevant or a related field, or any acceptable combination of education, experience, and training

  • 3+ years of experience working within a marketing organization

  • Expertise in highly complex technical landscapes, inclusive of data, process mapping, and digital marketing technologies

  • Deep understanding of Airtable (or equivalent Project Management tool) as a technical lead, process workflow architecture, and end user

  • Ability to streamline and optimize complex processes

  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to identify and problem solve situations in an efficient manner, including concepting and delivering presentations on complex business issues required

  • Strong time management and project management skills, keep projects on track, raise awareness where issues may arise and bring solutions to the table, while keeping high attention to detail

  • Strong analytical skills, commitment to support internal teams, and proven ability to manage expectations

  • High level of motivation and energy, hard-working, driven, takes initiative and self-motivated with the ability to successfully deliver tangible results

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and competitive environment, with a diverse group of individuals and talents, collaboration skills a must

  • Possesses an optimistic and enthusiastic attitude towards change, while remaining flexible and tolerant to ambiguity

  • Proven track record of working highly-collaboratively and cross-functionally, investing in relationships across diverse brand, creative, business, and technical teams
