Pay Rate:

1st shift - $17 - 7am - 3pm Mon - Fri

2nd shift - $19 - 3pm - 11pm Mon - Fri

3rd shift - $19 - 11pm - 7am Sun - Thurs

Temp to hire opportunity

Responsibilities:

• Perform pre-operation checks for both individual machines and work areas.

• Conduct safety inspections required for individual machines and associated equipment.

• Assemble conical bit bodies, braze material, and carbide tips.

• Operate braze line, press, and clipper or pack station at optimal levels.

• Inspect parts to meet established ISO requirements.

• Support functions and change-overs to meet established due dates.

• Track and problem-solve the materials used and ensure efficient equipment use to reduce costs.

• Manage WIP and components such as carbide, braze, flux, and steel bodies, and perform cycle counts as specified.

• Participate in lean events and utilize lean processes in daily duties.

• Perform daily required TPM on associated equipment.

• Perform daily required 5S activities for the work area.

• Perform daily activities associated with gathering and posting established metrics.

• Accurately and timely recording required data such as production and quality.

Qualifications:

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.

• Possess experience in a manufacturing or production environment.

• Are familiar with lean manufacturing principles and 5S methodology.

• Have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Are available to work flexible hours, including possible overtime.

• Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
