Position Summary: This is a Night Shift position responsible for Protein and Deoiled product production in the Deoiled & Protein food grade department of the plant. The position is paid $30.66 per hour. Health and welfare benefits begin on date of hire, there is a perfect attendance award, and an annual bonus. Core Functions: Learn & manage the Protein and Deoiled process. Maintain and operate the Protein and Deoiled equipment in the department. Follow a production schedule and produce in-spec, high-quality products. Perform assigned sanitation tasks and keep the process building clean. Develop and mentor new operators by providing both technical expertise and hands - on training, ensuring rapid acclimation to company standards and procedures. Skill/Experience Requirements: High School diploma or GED required, minimum of 18 years of age. Ability to work safely and follow all safety rules and policies. Ability to work a 12-hour night shift on a rotation basis with mandatory over-time. Ability to take direction and work as a team is required. Ability to operate various types of machinery is required. Experience in Good Manufacturing Practices is preferred. Good attendance and reliability are critical. Leadership and team management Problem solving and troubleshooting. Effective communication and training capabilities Able to perform simple data entry and use database software.
