Bellevue Community College Dean of Student Support in Bellevue, Washington

Dean of Student Support Job ID: 13858 Location: Bellevue College Full/Part Time: Full Time Regular/Temporary: Regular Position Summary The Dean of Student Support is an exempt position that works under administrative direction and reports to the Vice President of Student Affairs. This position develops, monitors and promotes student success strategies and programs to increase persistence, retention and academic success for all students, with an emphasis on closing the equity gap in success and persistence for undeserved student populations using the social justice framework. The Dean serves as a member of the Student Affairs Leadership Team and works collaboratively with other campus constituencies, including faculty, staff, and student groups, to help the college achieve its goals for student retention, success and completion. In addition, this position also provides'support to the'Behavioral Intervention Team and the Academic Standards Policy. The Dean analyzes and evaluates operations, and develops and implements corrective action to resolve problems, in addition to development and implementation of short and long-range plans to meet unit/program needs. This position also has responsibility for providing leadership for college planning and implementation of a comprehensive retention plan in collaboration with'Academic Affairs. Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule Position Salary Range: $110,530/year - $165,795/year The salary information shown above is a general guideline only. The salary will be determined based on candidate's qualifications and related experience, as well as market and business considerations. Typically, new hire starts no higher than $124,346/year based on Bellevue College Exempt salary schedule. We offer comprehensive compensation package with salary and benefits as the main components.
