Deputy and Senior Director, Regulatory Affairs TerraPower, LLC. is seeking to hire a highly capable and motivated Deputy of Regulatory Affairs to be a part of the Regulatory Affairs Team. This position reports to a Vice President of Regulatory Affairs and provides management and support to the following areas: licensing; regulatory oversight; environmental, safety and health; training; corrective action; process assessment and improvement; security and safeguards; procedures and process; document management and control; employee concerns and safety culture. Work will be in close consultation with Engineering and other Licensing staff and will ensure documents are created in accordance with TerraPower licensing strategy and guidance. Supports preparation and interaction with domestic and international nuclear regulators and state and federal permitting offices. These interactions will include pre-application discussions, preparing/reviewing licensing and authorization content, and preparing/reviewing topical reports. Responsibilities Provides Management and Support for the drafting, authoring, review, and submittal of NRC regulatory documents, international nuclear regulator documents, DOE authorization documents, and various state and federal agency permitting documents. Lead inclusive team through effective attraction, development, management and retention of talent. Interfaces with the Regulatory Affairs Team to complete tasks. Coordinating with design and operations personnel from the various company projects to ensure designs, design changes, and operations meet regulatory requirements. Coordinating with various company support organizations to complete tasks. Provides Management and Support for preparing, reviewing, and maintaining licensing documentation in compliance with regulations and quality assurance standards. Provides Management and Support for reviewing correspondence to and from the various regulators. Provides Management and Support for evaluating and resolving potential regulatory issues and/or findings. Key Qualifications and Skills Bachelor's degree from an accredited, four-year university or equivalent experience 15+ years of experience leading, developing and engaging a team of direct reports. Capability and willingness to adhere to strict quality assurance standards. Self-Starter with ability to manage deadlines. Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint
