As an Application Engineering (AE) intern in the Custom IC and Simulation team, you will work with tools covering the layout flow, passing through physical implementation, verification and extraction/sign-off. On a daily basis you will interact with industry leading semiconductor and system companies empowering the development of analog, RF, and Mixed-Signal circuits. You will work with the North America based AE and sales teams to provide technical support in the Pre and Post-Sales process. You will be required to come up with innovative solutions to address our customer’s most challenging problems.

Key responsibilities in this position are to:• Establish technical credibility and rapport with customers.• Be trained to provide support, training, and resolve customer issues.• Collaborate with R&D to learn and deploy new flows to customers.Requirements:• Enrolled in BSc program in of Electrical, Computer Engineering or related area• Knowledge of electronic circuit simulation• Advanced English written and oral communication skillsNice to have skills:• Previous experience with analog design flow• Knowledge of EDA tools and Cadence Virtuoso• Knowledge of scripting languages: Python, Perl, Tcl, Bash, Csh.• Knowledge of analog layoutAdditional Internship Details:• Internship term: 20 hours/week• Location: Av. do Contorno, 5800, 5th floor - Savassi, Belo Horizonte - M
