Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

Join our team as a Machine Operator where you will play a key role in operating blow molding machines and equipment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting equipment problems, performing change-overs on machines, and ensuring all guards, shields, and safety functions are in place and working properly. Additionally, you will perform quality checks on plastic bottles every hour, make weight adjustments on machines when necessary, and use small hand tools (provided). Training on the lock out tag out process will be provided.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 820 Hour(s).

Work Environment

1st shift (7:00am-3:30pm), and 3rd shift (Sunday-Thursday, 11:00pm-7:30am). Candidates will train on 1st shift for 1-2 months before moving to their respective shifts. The facility is a GMP environment with specific dress code requirements (no jewelry, fake nails, etc.). It can get a little hot in the summers, but it is a clean and large facility. Steel toe shoes are required, and no shorts or sleeveless shirts are allowed. Breaks include two 10-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch (unpaid). Overtime depends on workload and could mandate one Saturday a month. The average workweek is 40-50 hours. Compensation is $22.50 per hour with a $2 shift premium on 3rd shift
