Job Description
We manufacture stainless steel tanks for the dairy industry, ensuring that most welds are food-grade or sanitary. This position requires skills in welding, grinding, and fabrication, specifically TIG welding. You will work with TIG and MIG stainless steel and aluminum for the production of tanks in various positions, including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead. The role involves clamping, holding, tack-welding, heat-bending, bolting, custom fabricating, and grinding materials as necessary to meet technical requirements and create a welded final product. You must control the processes of fitting, burning, and welding to avoid overheating, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage of parts. The ability to read and understand basic prints/drawings is essential, and candidates must be able to solve fabrication tasks.
Responsibilities
Perform TIG and MIG welding on stainless steel and aluminum in various positions.
Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, bolt, custom fabricate, or grind materials as needed.
Control fitting, burning, and welding processes to avoid overheating, distortion, expansion, or shrinkage of parts.
Read and understand basic prints/drawings.
Solve fabrication tasks effectively.
Essential Skills
Experience with stainless steel welding.
Proficiency in TIG welding with at least 3 years of experience.
Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
Skills in fitting and assembly.
Experience with MIG welding and fabrication.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 4-5 years of print reading and fabrication experience.

Work Environment
1st Shift: Monday-Thursday (5am-3:30pm). Overtime will be available after training is completed, with optional work on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Fridays usually offer 4-5 hours of voluntary overtime. Our brand new, state-of-the-art facility includes a workout facility, cafeteria, arcade, and new service center. Paid time off structure includes 5 paid vacation days and 3 paid personal days for new hires, increasing to 2 weeks of vacation and 3 paid personal days after one year. There are 11 paid holidays, including a paid day off for your birthday. Employees receive one free unexcused call-in and an additional day with a doctor's note to excuse an unplanned absence per year. Our progressive attendance policy includes a documented verbal warning for one missed day, a written warning for two missed days, a final warning for three missed days, a 5-day unpaid suspension for four missed days, and termination after five missed days.
