Job Description
Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.
Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.

We are the team building the next generation of the Oracle CX Sales applications that span across mobile devices on iOS/android, email clients such as Outlook, collaboration tools such as ms teams and slack, the web interface for a comprehensive and an immersive UI and a variety of other platforms with a long term vision to provide a consistent, easily customizable and a seamless engagement experience. These solutions are being built ground up and are designed to natively integrate with a Digital Assistant/Chatbot that is primarily ML driven
The enterprise productivity landscape is changing at a rapid pace and Cloud Applications across these interfaces and platforms are becoming both a strategic and an imperative offering for many customers
Oracle CX Cloud Applications enables enterprise Sales teams to seamlessly move from on-line/connected applications to a mobile, occasionally connected mode with access to data and processes that maximize the effectiveness of their roles within the enterprise. These "always available", composite applications are process-oriented interactions that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the users

Responsibilities
As an Engineer on the team, you get to:
Innovate in niche areas such as being able to customize an application real time
Conversationally allow users to interact with the Oracle CX system via both voice and text -- this is the next generation BOT platform
Work on a solution for the mobile application to be available while offline as well
Develop integrations such the ability to scan a business card
Add to the motivation and have a lot of fun
In addition the person in this role would:
Work on the latest technologies used to build a mobile platform
Make a big impact – we are a small but a growing team
Work with some really smart engineers
Interact with senior architects from the Oracle ecosystem
Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science
Strong programming skills – javascript, typescript, redux and node
Excellent knowledge of design patterns, OO and ER modeling
Knowledge of JSON based REST APIs, OpenAPI standards, Android , Objective-C, Swift, python and java
Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals including algorithms, designing ML models, data structures, databases and system concepts
Complete product development life-cycle experience with good software engineering skills.
Ability to understand business concepts and processes is a plus
Successful track record showing excellence and creativity
Participate in Technical Discussions and contribute effectively to architectural and design decisions
