An experienced and hands-on Distinguished Engineer is responsible for hands-on technical outcomes and delivering Infrastructure, Systems & Cloud Engineering for Autodesk Enterprise platforms and Services and reporting to the Head of this Department.

You will evaluate and produce important architectural solutions to help develop new capabilities to increase & secure the infrastructure and services deployed in Azure/ AWS and performing hands-on troubleshooting to enhance the performance of existing systems.

You have held similar senior-level position, influencing important technical partners and with hands-on experience as Infrastructure and Cloud Engineer with an SRE background. You will demonstrate their expertise as a technologist, with in-depth knowledge of platforms, system design, tools and frameworks.

This is an important technical leadership role in ECEE (Enterprise Cloud Engineering & Experiences) Company. You are expected to be in this space and provide technical expertise and mentorship to Engineering talent in the orgnization and incorporate new modern technologies in the Cloud Engineering and Infrastructure space.

• An ideal candidate would have built/ worked large-scale distributed systems/ platform

• As a Distinguished Engineer, you have hands-on and a top contributor to the product, Infrastructure development and Cloud enablement within Company and across multiple Organisations around technology decisions.

• Full stack understanding from the data layer to serving layer at scale .

• Provide technical and expertise on Infrastructure, Platforms and Software Development of systems and services to ECEE Organisation

• 12+ years of technical expertise and progressive growth in an Individual contributor role

• Hands-on experience in design and development of products, systems, infrastructure and platforms

• Review code & mentor team in improving the quality and efficiency of the delivery

• Address complex technical problems.

• Can a technically formidable team in sharpening the platform & other offerings further

• Robust design capability with microservices-based architecture and its pitfalls

• Should have worked in designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems

• Good understanding of DevOps & SRE principles in a Public Cloud deployed services

• Familiar with Identity management, Authorization & Authentication frameworks

• Experience writing/ reviewing technical architecture documents in and around Cloud deployments, Microservices, Technical Architecture, Data processing, DevOps, Authorization, Identity management, Authentication, Software design, Security and Compliance, Automation platforms

• Successful experience in initiating and driving across-org data initiatives to the finish line.
