Oracle EPM - Demo Engineering Solution Consultant in BENGALURU, India

Job Description

As a Pre-Sales Consultant for Oracle EPM Cloud - (Demo Engineering), you will work as a member of a pre-sales team to solve business and technical problems for prospective clients and customers. You will uncover and understand demonstration goals laid out by the field Solution Engineering team and work with them, along with product management and demo services/provisioning teams and collaboratively to come up with the best possible solution/configuration based on business and technology requirements of the clients.

  • Total Experience: 5 to 10 years

  • Minimum 2-3 end-to-end EPM Planning Cloud implementations (including DEV/UAT/PROD phases), either as a system implementation consultant or system administrator with developer/consultant level exposure and responsibilities to ensure successful go-live. Provide subject matter expertise in Oracle Planning FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud) with strong consolidations, close, and financial reporting knowledge with a strong desire and ability to build simple to intermediate level complexity level applications from scratch including hierarchy build and metadata management. Able to set up the system to meet the desired business process and requirements. Will consider strong FCC/FCCS (Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud experiences with solid understandings of ownership management and F/X or strong Essbase implementation experiences

  • Desired functional knowledge (Full cycle planning and budgeting processes, Understanding of Chart of Accounts and/or Account reconciliation process)

  • Must be able to work independently to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues prior to their occurrence.

  • Foundational and working knowledge on FCCS, ARCS, and Planning. Ability to write FCCS introductory to intermediate level calculation scripts/Business Rules, develop data forms, and financial reports based on requirements

  • Requirement-gathering experiences and converting requirements into actual application configuration/build tasks

  • Groovy scripting, Linux or Windows batch scripting experiences: good to have

  • Visual Basic/Excel/Access Macros: optional and good to have

  • Experience in competitor EPM products: good to have
