Google Financial Analyst, Workspace and Maps Financial Planning in Bengaluru, India

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with large datasets and building dashboards (e.g., data visualization).

  • Experience in financial modeling, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function.

  • Experience in using SQL to extract and manipulate data, or with other programming or scripting languages such as R and Python.

  • Knowledge of the Cloud/Software industry, different roles and incentives.

  • Ability to manage work in an unstructured, fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent quantitative, innovative, organization, written, and presentation skills.

Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work, whether it's modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics, is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you are focused on the details while finding creative ways to take on big picture challenges.

As someone who knows the workings of the core Finance team inside and out, you'll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking and control processes. You'll provide senior level management with insightful recommendations, planning and reporting support.

  • Define, own and drive standard financial reporting for Workspace and Maps business, on a periodic cadence.

  • Study business trends to drive actionable insights for business and finance leadership to drive growth for workspace and maps businesses. Study market trends to guide finance and business leadership decisions.

  • Develop an understanding of Workspace and Maps financial data, sources, SQL pipelines, to drive accurate reporting and reporting infrastructure enhancements over time.

  • Leverage evolving Generative AI capabilities to transform our financial functional capabilities.

  • Drive financial planning and analysis cadence, timelines, calendar for Workspace and Maps finance.
