• Key missions of the position:

• Execution of 3D models using CATIA

• Generation of detailed drawings to sound GD and T practices

• Writing Technical and test specifications for coupler components

Main responsibilities:

• Understanding of the product and its working principle

• Preparation of the conceptual design proposal with reference to similar product

• Modelling and drafting of the parts and assembly

• Preparation of the technical documents

• Preparation of the manuals

• Support for testing and validation of the product

• Basic calculations based on SOM

• Understanding the material details of the parts such as (steel, cast, rubber etc..) and surface treatment

• What education and education level are necessary for the position?

• BE (Mechanical)

• Experience on 3D modelling software is essential

• Experience with CATIA software is desirable

How many years of professional experience in a specific professional area are required for the position?

• Minimum 5 to 8 years’ experience

• Note: Work experience in Railway field will be preferable.

• Ability to learn Wabtec product and working principles.

• Ability to work theoretically and practically on the assignment
