About the Role:

The individual in this role will be part of the DDOS Defense team, tasked with protecting the critical infrastructure of AT&T and its LevelBlue customers. The DDOS Defense Team is seeking a meticulous and seasoned Web Application UI engineer specialized in UI Automation, Quality Assurance & Testing to join their ranks.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and executing automated tests (unit, integration, API) utilizing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito to ensure the Spring Boot web application functions correctly.

• Performing manual tests with tools like Selenium WebDriver across browsers and devices to pinpoint UI issues.

• Collaborating closely with the development team to replicate bugs and confirm solutions.

• Generating comprehensive and detailed reports and documentation detailing test scenarios, methodologies, and results.

Required Skills

• Over 12 years of demonstrated expertise as a UI Tester, Web Tester, or in a comparable role, emphasizing user interface testing.

• Expertise in front-end technologies, such as JSP/JSTL, JQuery, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Proficiency in Java and understanding of Spring Boot framework principles.

• Experience with UI automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or Cypress.

• Experience with UI testing tools like JMeter or SOAP UI for API testing.

• Bachelor / Master graduation in Computer science and Engineering.

Desired Skills

• Understanding of cyber security fundamentals and concepts

• Good understanding of networking protocols such as TCP, IPv4 / IPv6 and others

• Familiarity with Git, Maven

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

• Flexible to provide coverage in US morning hours on a need-basis, and as required

• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills

• Experience working in an environment where coordination with multiple teams is essential to success

• Ability to prioritize individual/group work in a high-stress and time-bound environment
