Overview:

We are seeking an experience in managing or leading projects or programs including contract negotiations with minimal supervision.

Job Title:

Manager - SCM

Job responsibilities :

  • Proven team building, leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Established success in developing project plans and managing these projects through to successful execution, including overcoming obstacles.

  • Experience with global activities, including sourcing and/or operations within different cultures and styles.

  • Robust negotiation skills.

  • Successfully negotiated Long Term Agreements (LTA) amendments within approved negotiation sandboxes and ensure continued contractual coverage with suppliers.

  • Ensure contract negotiations drive cost savings target.

  • Successfully Led cost reduction and cost management process.

  • Align and obtain stakeholder approvals for negotiation sandboxes.

  • Led Operational Procurement, Engineering and Program management to ensure the successful introduction of new programs and successful transfer of production requirements to new suppliers.

  • Led Team(s) with leadership from other Business Units and the corporate commodity organization to develop broad based commodity or supplier strategies.

  • Led the development and implementation of strategy execution to improve Long Term Agreement coverage, supplier performance, product cost reduction, management and execution of supplier agreements and monitor the compliance to those agreements across the business unit and sites

  • Drive standardization and strategy with a deep level of understanding around complex part groups.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10-12 years of prior relevant experience

  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 6-8 years of experience

  • Supply Chain Project Management skills as a must

  • Contract negotiation experience

  • Experience using cost sensitivity to improve bottom line

  • Experience managing or leading projects or programs including contract negotiations with minimal supervision.

  • Demonstrated success in developing tactical plans and carrying through to successful execution

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications specifically expert level Excel

  • Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing techniques and procedures

  • Ability to effectively communicate and present to senior leadership
