Job Description
The Demo Services team is responsible for building enterprise class demos used by Oracle Solution Engineers to sell Oracle technology. We are looking for a senior Technical Writer who can craft a compelling story showing Oracle technology solving customers’ business problems. This person will build compelling storytelling assets that demonstrate the business value of our product capabilities today as well as our near-term roadmap capabilities with the direction from Product Strategy and Design teams. The ideal candidate will understand the value of storytelling and be able to craft narratives that showcase the usability and power of Oracle’s cloud suite.

Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
You will write outstanding quality demonstration narratives working closely with the SaaS demo implementation teams that ladder up to key messaging and focus on solving business challenges
Your knowledge of enterprise SaaS applications will enable you to understand story flows and articulate business value
You will produce high quality internal and customer facing sales and marketing documents consumed by internal sales and by Customers
You compose stories that showcase the value our technical products provide SaaS customers.
You work closely with other teams to ensure consistency in workflow and writing style.
You’re a phenomenal storyteller. You know that our products tell our customers a story through the user experience. You won’t rest until that story is a compelling one.
You will author, publish, and maintain original content, review the content authored by peers, and help them identify defects.
Qualifications:
4+ (ideally 4-8) years of experience
Knowledge of enterprise SaaS cloud applications and technologies
Outstanding English interpersonal skills
Ability to write in a persuasive tone
Strong team player with outstanding communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Ability to understand new technologies and application concepts quickly
Ability to establish and follow content style and usage guidelines
Product Management or Marketing background highly desirable
Storytelling experience highly desirable
A bachelor’s degree in a writing-intensive field, or significant relevant work experience
