The role of Amazon Fresh is to provide ultra-fast (2 hour and same day scheduled) and reliable delivery for selection that customers need, or want, fast. Customers find their daily grocery essentials, fresh produce, home and Kitchen needs, and more on Amazon Fresh. ‘Hybrid Stores’ within Amazon Fresh refers to physical retail stores with a set of hybrid features to serve online customers. The program is highly cross-functional in nature, involves managing strategic partnerships, operations intensive, and requires a number of India-first solutions to be created.

Hybrid Stores Team is searching for an exceptional and experienced Program Manager who thrives in Thinking big. You will be working in the future, helping to manage and shape new processes and product solve that extend and define customer experience. As a Program Manager, you should possess a strong customer focus, great retail instincts, and be practiced at applying project / process management skills. You will need to thrive and deliver results in an ambiguous and fast-paced business environment, operating across multiple teams and levels. You should excel at unconstrained thinking and have the ability to document and support your ideas to gain broad buy-in and consensus. You should also not be afraid to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty by diving into a customer inputs. You are a strong leader who is analytical, can prioritize well in ambiguity, and communicate clearly and compellingly to internal and external strategic leadership level.

As a Program Manager you will:

• Become a subject matter aspect of current in store operations and processes

• Develop expertise in expanding Amazn fresh coverage via new Store / Merchant launches. Exhibit ability to be entrepreneurial, wear many hats, and work in a highly collaborative environment

• Work out scope of expansion of business into new territories

• Continuously inspect and improve processes to identify areas of opportunity to improve productivity of expansion

• Prioritize projects and software feature requests, evaluate and set stakeholder expectations

• Work closely with product teams to deliver features which are customer-focused, scale able, auditable and iteratively developed

• Work closely with internal (Amazon) and external (Partner organization) stakeholders to work out on optimal capacity for customers ensuring enough capacity while keeping cost in control

• Support these programs and hold other stakeholders accountable for progress on key actions and deliverables.

• Create reports and metrics to demonstrate progress towards goals, provide new insights, and regularly update senior leadership.

• Actively seek feedback from key stakeholders, including field leadership, to drive continuous improvement.

• Be a visible and vocal role model across the wider business for Amazon’s customer-centric culture, championing Seller’s needs and using data and technology to anticipate and exceed them.

A successful candidate will also demonstrate:

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• MBA and work experience in Operations and Project/Program Management.

• 6+ years of experience in program or project management retail/FMCG/Supply Chain/E-commerce (preferrably grocery)

• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

• Strong analytical capability (Basic SQL knowledge, Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel is required)

• A clear history of defining and delivering key programs with significant, demonstrable results

• Proven ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment

• Experience of working cross-functionally across multiple teams and building consensus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 4+ Years of Retail / ecom / grocery / FMCG / Operations experience

• 2+ years of experience in driving continuous improvement initiatives including lean, six sigma, problem solving methodology

• Experience building new concepts from the ground up

• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving programs that drive exceptional results

• Broad multi-disciplinary working experience (Operations, Category, Supply-Chain)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Basic Qualifications

  • 3+ years of program or project management experience

  • 3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

  • 3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience

  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL

  • Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience

  • 3+ years of driving process improvements experience

  • Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization

  • Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
