Job Description Summary

The SAP Functional Architect is a key role in designing, solutioning and building supply chain processes through the effective use of SAP system. You will be responsible for ALTAIS SAP implementation projects, rollouts, core model deployments or system enhancements. In addition, you will be accountable to maintain a Core Model solution documentation (blueprint, user manual functional design specification, test scenarios in ALM, etc.) and support L2 team on critical production issues and enhancements.

Essential Responsibilities

• Solution and delivery on supply chain domains mainly MM and PP (SAP product & deployment projects).

• SAP core model evolutions, system enhancements via change request process.

• Implement and enhance 3rd part inbound and outbound interfaces for vendor collaboration, Engineering workbench, Shop floor tools, external warehouse etc.

• Work with key users and business stakeholders to understand business processes and key requirements to deliver Enterprise standard solution.

• Ensure a strong alignment on Supply Chain functions with Business Analyst team.

• Collaboration with other SAP functional and technical resources to define new functionality and functionality changes.

• On-time delivery of high quality functionals components required for the deployment of new ERP capabilities, ensuring maximum reusability and system performance.

• Recommend and implement best practices, system and process improvements, and simplification ideas. Incorporate industry standards to maximize the use of new technology and to ensure the long-term supportability of the platform.

• Secure core model business adoption. Provide an active support to business leaders to secure key user / end user knowledge on ERP golden management rules and standard processes.

• Provide an appropriate level of communication to DT/Business domain leaders and stakeholders.

• Perform proof of concepts, unit and integration tests for new solutions and processes prior to Business analyst and key-user testing.

• AssistL2 team in complex issue resolution (L3) in support of ERP Operational execution.

• Deliver high quality solutions and root cause analysis of critical business & functional scenarios.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree

• Fluency in English

• Minimum 5 years hands-on experience on delivering solutions and providing functional expertise in SAP MM and PP modules (WM, QM is desirable).

• In-depth knowledge on business processes related to Manufacturing Planning and Execution as well as Sourcing, Purchasing, Inventory Management.

• Good understanding of integrations with other SAP logistics modules like SD, PS, QM, WM and potentially also with Finance modules.
