The team applies data and insights to optimize the experience and operations for Amazon’s largest candidate population – Tier 1 Associates (Frontline Associates), who bring the magic of Amazon’s industry-leading Customer Fulfillment experience to life. This is accomplished through a variety of science driven initiatives, KPI analysis and reporting, predictive modeling, and data engineering. Amazon’s mission is to be the most customer centric company in the world and Workforce Staffing, the organization responsible for hourly associate hiring globally, is on the front lines of that mission and will be your core customer in this role. The Workforce Intelligence team supports the Workforce Staffing organization by transforming data into insights on high volume hiring within Amazon. While WFS is responsible for the management of the Tier 1 talent supply chain, the Data Analyst team in particular focuses on defining analytics that measure the performance of the program.
The Data Analyst role will be responsible for diving into the complex data sets and analyzing the intricacies of the system. The successful candidate will be an analytical problem solver, have an extremely high level of customer focus and a passion for driving improvements in the areas of data & analytics. As you further your career as a Data Analyst on the WFS team, you will remove barriers to the business intelligence teams need, support self-service tools and mechanisms, and identify opportunities for improved analytics. In this role, you will work with closely with the Business Intelligence Engineers, Data Engineers and different users of the data to dive deep into the data sets and resolve customer queries. Key Responsibilities:
Retrieve and analyze data using Excel, Salesforce, Tableau, and other data management/BI systems
Efficient management of several ticket queues, resolving issues and engaging with appropriate stakeholders as needed
Resolving issues quickly and effectively, including providing detailed explanations on a variety of topics
Being a voice and advocate for our customers when something doesn’t feel right
Develop and maintain ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to provide visibility into system performance
Provide analytical support to important initiatives in order to drive decisions and prioritize efforts
Build queries and analyze data to identify trends, root cause issues, and system and process improvement opportunities

Basic Qualifications
3+ years of human resources experience
Experience with MS Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Amazon Projects, Word, Slack and Chime
Experience with HR processes and systems
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with KPIs and SLAs
Experience managing confidential and sensitive employee information and adherence to strict confidentiality standards
