Manual Machinist in Benicia

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to machine parts for rotating equipment such as pumps, shafts, couplings, rings, cases, turbines, and valves. The role involves operating manual mills and lathes, primarily working with steel and stainless steel.

Hard Skills

• 4 years of experience as a manual machinist

• Ability to machine down to 2/1000's of an inch in tolerance

• Experience operating a lathe

• Experience operating a mill

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Benicia, California.

Work Environment

This position is based in an industrial machine shop that services companies in the refinery sector. The standard shift is Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm. Overtime is available and currently employees are working 6-7 days a week. Must be open to working additional hours if required.
