We are a data driven, results-oriented Strategy team focused on partnering with senior leaders, CEO's executive leadership team, and the Board of Directors to influence decisions and drive outcomes to deliver shareholder value while helping our customers save money and live better.

You'll sweep us off our feet if you:

• Work collaboratively with business partners to drive strategy execution for high priority, high impact initiatives by reporting on key financial and strategic KPIs, managing the progress of cross-functional teams, and breaking down barriers to accelerate pace

• Shape and support development of executive leadership content for high profile meetings (e.g., Board of Director, Executive Council, investment community)

• Drive prioritization and tradeoffs across strategic portfolio of initiatives, products, and services with business, product, and technology leaders

• Frame and develop complex analysis to drive business case development for key strategic focus areas (e.g., core business turnaround, new clinical offerings, sustainable alternative business models to drive down cost of care while sharing in value created)

• Perform capability assessments and synergy analysis to support M&A activity and strategic partnership discussions

• Develop strategic fact bases and benchmarking, considering disruptive/ emerging technologies, business models, and macro issues to inform Executive level prioritization and decision making

• Cultivate an environment where associates respect and adhere to company standards of integrity and ethics

You'll make an impact by:

• Establish strategic clarity and communicate the Walmart US strategy and financial targets

• Make connections between dispersed initiatives from the business to ensure synergies, reduce duplication, and improve information flow

• Organizing the flow of initiatives across leadership team meetings, track actionable follow-ups, and drive accountability to deliver objectives

• Build strong rapport with stakeholders across the business who you will work with to drive strategy execution

• Hold business leaders accountable to deploy strategic advancements on time, on budget while achieving measurable milestones

• Prepare presentations and other supporting materials for recommendations; participating in business case presentations to executive management and communicate forecasts, assumptions, and variances to senior management

• Drive the development of long-term strategic financial planning and support annual operating planning across the business by partnering with different departments to understand macro impacts, surface strategic initiatives, and assess overall corporate goals

• Work across the business to identify and create input and output metrics to measure strategy execution and detect anomalies

• Collaborate with leadership to plan and analyze business performance by identifying gaps between business goals and corporate objectives

• Provide strategic input for business decisions by overseeing the production of complex financial models that incorporate assumptions, expectations, and known risks

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in Finance, Business Management, Omni-Channel Merchandising, or a related area

• Bachelor's degree and 6 years' experience in retail OR 8 years' experience in retail

• 2 year of experience managing and completing cross-functional projects

• 2 years of senior leadership decision support and influencing experience

• Strong communication skills including written, visual, and verbal

• Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines

• Strong influencing and interpersonal skills

• Detail and results-oriented with sense of urgency

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
