Pricing Operations Manager

What does a successful Pricing Operations Manager do at Fiserv?

The Network Issuer Client Management team is responsible for delivering critical operational support associated with three leading debit network brands in the U.S. Payments industry:

  • Accel and STAR networks which support all debit/prepaid, ATM, and person to person real-time transactions.

  • MoneyPass network and the CardFree Cash product which provide surcharge-free cash access at over 70,000 ATMs nationwide.

In this role, you will lead the team that focuses on delivering operational excellence associated with the administration of issuer client contracts and pricing for the networks owned and operated by Fiserv. You will collaborate across many groups to ensure clients and partners receive the best experience. This is an opportunity to learn a complex part of the business and implement process

improvements and automation.

What you will do:

  • Manage the life cycle of contract administration for the network issuer client base (new contracts, renewal of contracts, terminations of contracts) including the coordination and communication of pricing updates with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Perform routine validation across our systems to confirm contracts are being administered accurately.

  • Oversee billing tasks that require manual intervention outside the network billing systems including rebate/incentive calculations and processing.

  • Work with the team to maintain the Issuer Client Master Contract Table including all special pricing and variance/waivers tracking.

  • Perform research in response to questions and issues that arise and provide data and analysis that can be used to guide the team to a resolution.

  • Participate in discovery meetings in support of existing/new products.

  • Collaborate with Pricing Strategy and Product Management teams to optimize revenue for product offerings.

  • Document business processes and procedures.

You will need to have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree.

  • 5-7 years of experience in an applicable field.

  • Proven experience writing, editing and ensuring accurate distribution of information.

  • Strong attention to detail, quality and accuracy.

  • Proven problem solver with excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret data.

  • Ability to look for the next question that needs to be answered.

  • Thorough and deadline-driven project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Process oriented with the aptitude to define process/procedures and establish metrics to track operational activities.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite with especially strong Excel skills.

Would be great to have:

  • Payments, Banking, Finance or Financial Services/Technology industry experience.

  • Specific knowledge of Fiserv networks.

  • Experience leading a team.
