The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Information Technology Chief Architect Senior Manager to join the team in either Berkeley, MO; Arlington, VA; or El Segundo, CA .

In this role, you will provide technical leadership, owning the unique technical roadmaps and helping set the strategy for Information Technology (IT) within Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS). As the senior IT architecture leader, you will report directly to the BDS IT Vice President (VP) and serve as the key technical interface for BDS Customers and IT product divisions. Additionally, you will have the final authority on BDS IT product specification, configuration, design, and certification/verification. Position Responsibilities:

  • Monitors and provides inputs to Enterprise IT strategy to ensure technology insertion and application is relevant to BDS

  • Implements and enforces IT architecture functional excellence in people, processes, tools, and practices

  • Provides senior IT technical leadership for the entire tech stack of solutions addressing needs on BDS proposals, execution plans, and business challenges including:

  • Integrated Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)/Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM)/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems providing model-based engineering, digital manufacturing, digital thread and digital twin

  • Smart manufacturing, Internet of Things (IoT) and Industry 4.0+ solutions

  • Data analytics and automation

  • Infrastructure including network, cloud, High Performance Computing (HPC), data centers

  • Unclassified and classified solutions

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options .

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience working in a cross functional environment with all levels in the business from individual contributors to executive leadership

  • 5+ years of experience in system architecture in designing, building, testing, and deploying the fundamental aspects needed to produce effective computing solutions

  • 5+ years of experience working with solutioning and implementation of PLM/ERP Systems or any large Enterprise System

  • 5+ years of experience using GOLD and/or ERP/MRP systems

  • 5+ years of experience with Supplier Management or Production/Manufacturing Operations practices and processes

  • 5+ years of experience with migrating applications to Cloud platform

  • 5+ years of experience in data science, quantitative research science, or data analytics

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Top Secret Clearance

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $174,250 – $251,850
