Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Tax Associate to join a small, family-run business. You will work closely with clients to prepare tax documents, track accounts receivable, and ensure all necessary documentation is assembled. This part-time position requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Track accounts receivable using Excel

  • Prepare tax documents for individual clients

  • Assemble proper tax documentation for clients visiting the office

  • Follow up with clients on specific tax requests

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office

  • 3+ years of experience with tax returns and preparation

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and people skills

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to provide friendly customer service

  • Attention to detail

  • Experience in a small office environment is a plus

Work Environment

The office is connected to a private home, offering a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. You will work alongside the business owner and a CPA. The business has been family-owned for 40 years, providing a stable and supportive work environment. The position is part-time, with hours from 10am-3pm on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. A $1,000 stay bonus is offered as an incentive.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00
