Envestnet Financial Technologies, Inc. seeks Site Reliability Engineer II in Berwyn, PA. (Telecommuting Permitted)
Duties: Identify, manage, and resolve time sensitive escalations. Perform incident triage, to include determining scope, urgency, and potential impact, identify the specific vulnerability, and make recommendations that enable expeditious remediation. Lead all efforts across troubleshooting teams to rapidly restore service during outages or performance degradations. Optimize troubleshooting efforts through automation, alert monitoring, and creating executable runbooks. Identify recurring trends associated with incidents using software monitoring platforms. Conduct incident postmortems to determine summary of events, root cause, and preventative measures. Support end users with rotating on-call schedules in a 24/7/365 global support structure. Be responsible for adherence to and application of Envestnet legal, compliance, risk, business continuity and administrative policy within the role and departments including the timely completion of training & awareness, affirmations and testing as requested. Understand and readily support Envestnet's established corporate business practices, policies, internal controls and procedures designed to create value or minimize risk.
This position requires a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering or related field, plus 2 years of experience in related occupations. In the alternative, employer will accept a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering or related field, plus 5 years of experience in related occupations. Position requires the following: (1) 2 years of experience with AWS, New Relic, Splunk; (2) 1 year of experience with Jira/Confluence, GitHub, OpsGenie. Telecommuting Permitted.
