Adecco Warehouse Worker in Bessemer, Alabama
Job Description: Short term need, could be extended or could be short time frame. Physically unloading containers, sorting product (anything from plumbing suppliers, vanities, to adapters varies in products) Manual lifting from 5 lbs up to 125 lbs but can get assistance for anything over 50 lbs.
Must have: Physically able to handle manual labor for 8 hours Dependable Steel toes
Qualifications: A background in Warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, delivery, and inventory is preferred. Product knowledge or the ability to quickly learn it. Manual lifting up to 50 lbs Standing, bending, twisting, pulling for 8 hours a day Must be able to read and understand work orders.
Responsibilities: Pull and prepare orders for shipment. Receive, verify, stage and stock all incoming material. Ensure warehouse is clean, organized, secure and safe at all times.
Job duties may or may not be aligned with the following positions- Floater Pipe Yard Inside Associate, Pipe Yard Outside Associate, Receiving Associate, Receiving Clerk, or Returns Associate Comments for Suppliers: Unloading containers Hours: 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. 1/2 unpaid lunch
