Robert Half HR Assistant/Coordinator in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

Description

We are looking for a motivated self starter for a Human Resources Coordinator role! The Human Resources Coordinator will play a pivotal role in providing administrative support to a dynamic HR department and assist with various HR functions and processes. This individual will possess excellent time management, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities, along with a solid understanding of employee relationships, staffing management, and payroll.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and reports for internal and external HR duties, inquiries, and requests, including employment, compensation, payroll, benefits, detail oriented development, performance management, and employee relations programs.

  • Maintain and update employee records accurately and confidentially. Identify candidates for open positions, perform reference checks, and coordinate employee orientation and onboarding procedures.

  • Assist in planning and organizing HR-related events and programs.

  • Handle inquiries from employees and management regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.

  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

  • Utilize HR-related software programs and tools effectively to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field preferred.

  • Strong understanding of HR functions and best practices. Excellent time management, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in written, verbal, and interpersonal communication. Strong computer capabilities and working knowledge of HR-related software programs.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Understanding of employee relationships, staffing management, and payroll processes.
