This pivotal role offers an exceptional opportunity to be at the forefront of transforming groundbreaking research into real-world solutions that impact lives. As a Technology Commercialization Associate, your key responsibilities will include: Mining, initiating, identifying, evaluating, and managing invention disclosures Conducting market analysis and patentability assessments for inventions Collaborating closely with researchers to bridge the gap between innovation and real-world application Marketing the Office of Technology Transfers services to research faculty and students Educating faculty and students on research translation processes Developing strategies to foster an environment that encourages translational research To succeed in this role, you should possess: Bachelors Degree in Physical Science, Engineering or a related degree; Masters Degree preferred Three to five years of related work experience Entrepreneurial mindset and commercial awareness Proven project management and organizational skills Passion for technology transfer and commercialization Understand the concept of business development and marketing Understanding of intellectual property is a plus Lehigh University is more than just a workplace; its a vibrant community that values diversity, fosters personal and professional growth, and empowers its employees to thrive.
