Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Developer- Mobile iOS who has a passion for innovative solutions and delighting customers. As a member of the Mobile Application Engineering Team, the incumbent will design and build complex video and connectivity products for the iOS/iPadOS/tvOS platform. This individualresponsible for the timely completion of assigned systems and programming tasks to satisfy customer requests. These tasks include system design, coding, testing, installation, documentation and post-installation audits, all performed in accordance with established standards.The Developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the creation of a best-in-class mobile app experience.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement advanced features for our iOS/iPadOS/tvOS applications.
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to bring product visions to life.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Unit test code for robustness, usability, and performance across various iOS/iPadOS versions and devices.
  • Identify, diagnose, and fix bugs in existing applications.
  • Optimize application performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in iOS development, including the latest Apple frameworks, Swift UI.
  • Conduct comprehensive code reviews, ensuring high code quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment through effective communication, conflict resolution, and influence across technical and cross-functional groups.
  • Create comprehensive documentation, including workflow documents, presentations, and technical communications tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring clarity and alignment with company objectives.
  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum five to seven years of experience as a professional iOS developer shipping native iOS/iPadOS apps.
  • In-depth expertise in iOS development principles and Apple Human Interface Guidelines, including Swift, Objective-C, and adept in using Xcode.
  • Experience in designing and developing user interfaces (UIs) adhering to modern iOS frameworks and libraries, SwiftUI.
  • Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., XCtest) and writing unit tests.
  • Experience with debugging and troubleshooting iOS applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Passion for mobile development and a desire to learn and grow.

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $100,246.00-$164,689.00/year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
