Anastasia Beverly Hills Senior Manager Planning & Analytics - Domestic Sales in Beverly Hills, California

This position is responsible for supporting the objectives of the Domestic Sales team with compelling data and analytical solutions.  Ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners (e.g., Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Field Operations) to address solutions and their dependencies holistically.

Essential Job Functions

Analytical Duties

  • Partner cross-functionally to develop best practices around data analytics, dashboarding, and reporting within Power BI.

  • Design, program, generate, and automate concise reports, and analyses, that track business performance.

  • Support the annual strategic planning process and assist functional teams with developing owned channel strategic plans

  • Partner with the Domestic Sales team to gather, document, and maintain retailer requirements that will inform data modeling decisions

  • Prepare and present results to various teams within the organization in an audience-specific language with an orientation toward action-oriented decision-making

  • Continually look for ways to improve analytics processes and deliverables

  • Support competitive intelligence across all customers through developing weekly competitor updates, and maintaining competitor-specific trackers and profiles, among other activities

    Planning Duties

  • Roll up all forecasts and summarize them to enable quick decision making

  • Develop financial projections with the channel owners to lead regular financial conversations.  Help create a narrative and articulate risks and opportunities.

  • Build and present bottom-up sales and inventory plans.  Then, reconcile against the tops-down financial plans to inform financial and inventory decisions while tracking and adjusting receipts to meet OTB goals.

  • Align with internal and external business partners to guide in-season tactical activities in the execution of seasonal strategies: promotional strategies, markdown management, etc.

  • Help build financial plans; cover all operational and sales KPIs. Work to balance channel, brand, and business needs across our channels.

    Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics/planning

  • BA/BS degree in Business Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or related analytical degree or experience.  Masters a plus.

  • Proven command of SQL, relational databases, and MS Excel ((Power Query, INDEX/MATCH, VLOOKUP)/PowerPoint (R or Python a plus)

  • Solid experience with data visualization tools (i.e., Power BI) preferred

  • Experience with financial modeling

  • Experience in retail or CPG industry a plus

  • Must be able to communicate complex ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.

  • Excellent analytical, mathematical and creative problem-solving skills.

  • Energetic and self-motivated - must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to make proactive recommendations.

  • Strong sense of curiosity and storytelling.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Experience in retail or consumer products goods preferred

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Comfortable with ambiguity

  • Maintains a high level of accuracy

  • Experience planning and executing multiple projects independently

  • Strong critical thinking, detail-oriented, and logical approach to solving problems

    Anastasia Beverly Hills offers a competitive compensation package with full benefits and a 401(K) plan with matching contributions from the company. The starting base salary range for this position in the selected city is $125,000.00 - $135,000.000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and geographical location. Base pay is one part of the total compensation package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work. This role is bonus eligible.
