Job Description

To plan and conduct independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of instrumentation and control techniques, procedures and criteria

 To maintains and perform tests, calibrations, evaluations repairs, modifications, replacements and installations on HVAC, chiller and boiler control systems and devices to include pneumatic, electrical, electronic and direct digital control systems

 To respond to requests from architects, engineers, energy managers, building occupants and others regarding testing, evaluating, calibrating and documenting mechanical and electrical controls and metering systems

 To perform the work of other maintenance personnel or to assist in the completion of their work to include HVAC Mechanics, Electricians, Central Plant Mechanics, etc

 Maintains, repairs, modifies, places, installs and performs routine and preventive maintenance on a wide variety of light and heavy duty heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment for existing facilities and those under renovation

Skills and Requirements

10+ years of experience within HVAC, plumbing, electrical experience within a facilities environment

 Proficient in building automation systems such as Siemens or HMIs

 Ability to troubleshoot preventative and predictive maintenance

 Electrical experience with up to 40 volts

 Record keeping for safety and compliance

 Willing to have flu shot, TB testing, and tetnis

 Valid drivers liecnse and clean driving record

 Ability to be on call for emergency needs

 Associates Degree with highly preferred Experience within a hospital, research buildings or similar environment

 Additional Certifications in OSHA, NICETs, Etc null
