Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our day-to-day operations. The Operations Manager will be responsible for managing the distribution process, coordinating logistics, and ensuring the smooth functioning of our warehouse and delivery operations. This role is essential in maintaining the efficiency of our operations and supporting our commitment to excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities: - Operational Oversight: Manage and oversee daily operations including inventory management, order fulfillment, and distribution processes to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products. - Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff, drivers, and other operational personnel. Provide training, support, and performance evaluations to ensure high levels of productivity and employee satisfaction. - Logistics Coordination: Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to optimize delivery routes, reduce costs, and improve service levels. Coordinate with transportation providers and manage scheduling to meet delivery commitments. - Inventory Control: Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure availability of products while minimizing excess stock. Implement inventory management systems and practices to maintain accuracy and efficiency. - Quality Assurance: Ensure that all operations adhere to safety standards and quality control procedures. Address any operational issues or discrepancies promptly and implement corrective actions as needed. - Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. Analyze performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to drive continuous improvement. - Customer Service: Collaborate with the sales team and customer service department to address any customer issues or special requests related to order fulfillment and delivery. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through reliable and responsive service. - Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and management of the operations budget. Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising service quality.
Qualifications: - Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations management, logistics, or a related field, preferably within the beverage or food distribution industry. - Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred. - Skills: - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities. - Proficiency in operations and inventory management software. - Solid understanding of logistics, warehousing, and distribution processes. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
