Bid Manager
Executes all activities leading to a bid submission
Reports to President
Bid Preparation
Develop comprehensive bid proposals in response to RFPs (Request for Proposals), including cost estimates, project schedules, initial financial forecasts, and detailed scope of work.
Coordinate with various departments (operations, finance, asset management, human resources) to gather all
necessary information and ensure accuracy and completeness of bid documents.
Develop accurate cost estimates, considering materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Ensure that all estimates are competitive and aligned with company standards and client requirements.
Identify potential risks associated with each bid and develop mitigation strategies to address these risks.
Conduct thorough analysis to ensure that all potential issues are considered and addressed in the bid proposal.
Documentation
Ensure that all bid documents comply with client specifications.
Maintain detailed records of all bids submitted, including assumptions, methodologies, and decision-making processes.
Prepare and present bid proposals to senior management and clients, highlighting key aspects and differentiators of Turner Mining Group's offer.
Continuous Improvement
Participate in post-bid reviews to analyze the success of submitted bids and identify areas for improvement.
Implement feedback and lessons learned to enhance future bid proposals and processes.
Identify new business opportunities and potential markets to pursue through strategic bidding.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand industry trends and benchmark Turner Mining
Group's bids against competitors.
