Hunt Electric Corporation ECSI Experienced Fire Alarm Technician in Bloomington, Minnesota
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Wire and install Fire Alarm systems for residential and commercial customers. - Verify and test installed systems. QUALIFICATIONS - Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. - Excellent customer service skills. - Outstanding organizational and time management skills. - Attention to detail. - Problem solving skills. - Proficient PC and Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook experience. - Ability and flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed. - Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and dependability. - Ability to prioritize work and meet strict deadlines. - Computer Networking background a plus. - Notifier experience preferred. - Willing to travel to jobsites. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: - High School Graduate - 3-5 years minimum in the Fire Alarm systems field - Power Limited License (PLT) required PROGRAM INFORMATION: - Work as an apprentice LV technician 40 hours per week. - Valid driver s license required. - Ability to pass the Electrician s Trade Aptitude Test. - Attend class one day per week through Joint Apprenticeship Training Program (free). - Wages are based on the union scale and increase based on the number of hours worked. - Usually takes about 3 years to complete program and become licensed.
