SEAGATE TECHNOLOGY (NRM) Intern - Wafer Equipment Trainee Technician in Bloomington, Minnesota
About our group: In this role as a part of the Wafer Equipment Engineering Services, you will be working in a team environment. You will interact with a range of team members from technicians, operators, senior engineers and management. You will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and learn from others on the team. About the role - you will: Learn how to maintain, troubleshoot and repair Photolithography/Plating/Test/Vacuum equipment in a Wafer fabrication environment Understand and maintain preventive maintenance programs and procedures as directed Trainwith and support existing technicians on a wide variety of technical skills Expand your career opportunities by gaining the necessary training to perform the job duties of a Wafer Equipment Engineering Specialist Work towards the experience necessary to apply for an Equipment Engineering Specialist position, when these positions become available Work a minimum of 24 hours per week About you: Ambitious to keep growing professionally Familiar with Wafer Fab Equipment Mechanical aptitude including the ability to use common tools to repair equipment You need to be a self-starter who is willing to work in small teams to gain the necessary skills to perform all maintenance activities on the equipment You will need to have the critical thinking skills to evaluate complex problems and a willingness to follow all available documentation Your experience includes: Experience with MS Office Currently studying for an AAS technical degree (at least one semester completed). Location: Normandale, MN Our Normandale campus spans two suburbs, Edina and Bloomington, and serves as the Recording Head development and manufacturing arm of Seagate.
