This position is eligible for a $6,000 retention bonus ($2,500 paid after 6 months of service with the remainder paid after 12 months of service). Salary Range $48,146.04 - $61,322.85 The expected compensation range for this position represents a good faith estimate for this position and the specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, experience, and/or FTE. Canvas Health is a non-profit, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) specializing in serving clients who are on Medicaid. Position Summary Work with elementary and adolescent day treatment programs, planning and facilitating group skills services to clients of the program. This position works closely with the program therapists and other Life Skills Counselors and school staff to create and maintain an environment that is sensitive to the unique mental health needs of each client assisting them in learning how to manage their mental health symptoms, so they can function at home, in school and within the community. Additional job duties include working collaboratively with client's family, treatment team and school, as well as develop and implement behavioral strategies to intervene and decrease disruptive behaviors. Location - We are currently hiring for three positions at the three different locations listed below: Blaine, MN - Elementary Students North St. Paul, MN - Adolescents Forest Lake, MN - Adolescents Minimum Qualifications Possess a bachelor's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or related Human Services field. 1-2 years' experience working with severely emotionally disturbed students in an educations or treatment center. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with and/or delivering services to diverse populations. Experience with Electronic Health Record systems.
