We are seeking a detail-oriented Plant Controller to join our manufacturing client in the Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania area. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all functions of the Plant Finance & Accounting Department, including budget preparation, cost reduction programs, and financial reporting. This role is vital in ensuring our financial operations are running smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities for the Plant Controller will include:

• Direct and monitor all functions of the Plant Finance & Accounting Department

• Oversee P& L, forecasting, monthly Flash, and budget preparation

• Develop and implement plant cost reduction programs

• Communicate with the Corporate Office on KPIs, cost reduction, and metrics programs

• Evaluate data, develop financial plans and propose solutions to problems using continuous improvement principles

• Perform month-end financial close, analysis, and reporting

• Prepare month-end journal entries to ensure accounting records are compliant with US GAAP & IFRS regulations

• Maintain data and calculate standard product costs in SAP

• Handle invoicing, miscellaneous billings, and prepare weekly/monthly reports as required

• Analyze all capital expenditures and assist in plant product physical inventory and fixed account physical inventory

• Audit procedures for compliance and profitability and reconcile customer A/R problems

• Monitor all production and inventory levels and customer pricing

• Develop financial control systems, including purchase orders and releases

• Control, measure, and regulate inventory levels of materials, commodities, and purchased items in line with just in time and continuous improvement principles.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and SAP ERP System

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and 5+ years of Plant Accounting experience.

• MBA, Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) preferred
