DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: This opening is in our Kawneer business in Bloomsburg, PA. We are the leading manufacturer of architectural aluminum products and systems for the commercial construction industry. Kawneer is part of Arconic's global Building and Construction Systems (BCS) business unit, which manufactures and markets architectural systems and products in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for a Shipping Coordinator in this role, your primary responsibilities would be to * Coordinate outbound truck schedules with approved carriers * Prepare a daily schedule based on truck schedules * Manage incoming Metal Process * Prepare paperwork for outbound materials from the plant * Ensure quality shipments, high productivity; and identifying cost improvements in the shipping department * Maintain good employee relations with internal and external customers * Track performance measurements * Implement policies and procedures * Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS Basic or Minimum Qualifications * High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution * Minimum 1 year experience in logistics or supply chain (facilities, manufacturing, or warehouse environment) * Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in related field * 3 years' experience in logistics or supply chain (facilities, manufacturing, or warehouse environment)
