Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in the hospitality industry, located in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania. The role offers an opportunity to work in a hybrid workplace setting, with three days in office required. This position is a short term contract employment opportunity, where you will be tasked with maintaining accounting software systems, processing payments, and managing data entry tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Handle the matching of purchasing orders and invoices

• Perform scanning and filing duties as required

• Assist in pulling files for record keeping and review

• Use accounting software systems such as Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting

• Carry out various accounting functions, with a focus on Accounts Payable (AP)

• Oversee check processing and manage any discrepancies that may arise

• Perform data entry tasks efficiently and accurately

• Actively participate in accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP), Check Processing, and managing discrepancies. Requirements

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC)

• Familiarity with IBM AS/400

• Knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP)

• Familiar with Check Processing procedures

• Efficient Data Entry skills

• Ability to handle and resolve Discrepancies in accounts

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
