The Learning Program Owner will be responsible for the strategy design, stakeholder partnerships, and continuous improvement of the learning curriculum as a critical connection between quality member experiences and successful business outcomes. This person is a critical team member within the CVS Health Enterprise Learning Center of Excellence within the Human Resources department.

The Training Program Owner:

  • Communicates with clarity leveraging business and Learning & Development acumen.

  • Establishes and maintains stakeholder partnerships and communication up to Director level.

  • Develops learning and performance strategies which align to business and colleague performance objectives through thoughtful performance consulting.

  • Creates, implements, and monitors multiple learning programs simultaneously.

  • Acts as a liaison and strategic partner between enterprise operations, HR, and Enterprise Training

  • Partners with Enterprise Training Operations to deploy curriculum assets.

  • Delivers train-the-trainer sessions, as needed.

    Responsibilities

  • Designs effective training programs based on business analysis, adult learning principles, and performance expectations.

  • Collaborates with design partners to execute development and deployment of curriculum assets and maintains those assets using productions tools which track project plans and program data.

  • Maintains stakeholder partnerships with accountability through consistent communication, transparency in program health and proactive performance consulting to address workforce gaps.

  • Evaluates program data to measure effectiveness and implement solutions for performance improvement.

  • Delivers train-the-trainer sessions.

    This role in action:

  • Establishes and maintains stakeholder partnerships and communication up to Director level.

  • Keep stakeholders informed of the training’s value and impact towards business objectives.

  • Set and manage realistic and appropriate expectations with stakeholders.

  • Develop and implement reporting and communication plan with key stakeholders.

  • Create a training approach to address identified performance gaps.

  • Design performance-based and measurable training using Enterprise Training Signature Experience rubric/standards and Kirkpatrick model.

  • Design training products based on knowledge of business function and workplace environment to ensure business objectives and workforce needs are met.

  • Develops learning and performance strategies which align to business and colleague performance objectives through thoughtful performance consulting.

  • Identify performance gaps within the workforce and create a training program strategy to address business and performance needs.

  • Create and illustrate a training experience to keep the workforce’s performance on track.

  • Ensure business KPIs and goals are met by program strategies, execution, and trainee performance.

  • Conduct training analysis with stakeholders to determine the gaps and expectations that inform training recommendations.

  • Identify all performance factors and advise on operational roadblocks or considerations that require adjustments to drive successful training and ongoing performance.

    Creates, implements, and monitors multiple learning programs simultaneously.

  • Simultaneously manage multiple programs.

  • Act as liaison across Enterprise Training and stakeholders.

  • Create, implement, and monitor training programs.

  • Conduct all learning program annual reviews and initiate maintenance and retirement of assets.

  • Use project management tools to engage development and training delivery resources.

  • Use data and feedback to evaluate effectiveness and impact of training programs.

  • Recognize when priority initiatives are at risk and take appropriate actions.

  • Work in partnership with vendors, as needed, to facilitate program development.

Required Qualifications

  • 5 + years designing and developing learning strategy.

  • 5 + years using data to measure learning program outcomes.

  • 5 + years using authoring tools to develop curriculum content.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience supporting learning within the healthcare industry.

  • Master’s Degree in Instructional Design/Education

  • Superior knowledge and application of performance-based instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, performance consulting and educational media desired.

  • Experience working with multiple internal and external customers, senior management, and subject matter experts.

  • Excelled written, verbal and presentation skills and the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization and stakeholders.

  • Strong project management skills and ability to work independently.

  • Strong organization skills

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$60,300.00 - $139,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
