This Sr Process/Manufacturing Engineer will be in charge of taking quality issues found from the quality teams and perform a root cause analysis to figure out what the cause of the quality issue is. This could be machine error or human error. They will need to investigate the issue throughout the process. This person will also be in charge of process improvement/continuous improvement projects, as well as new process implementation and new equipment implementation. This will be through a lot of data collection, root cause analyses, and failure modes. They will directly work with the Process engineers, supervisors, operators, production, quality teams, and venders.

This person will help instruct maintenance and project lead the improvements, as well as sometimes turn a wrench if its an easy fix. They will troubleshoot and analyze failures and then create the action plan. Could do equipment or new part purchasing and coordination. The process engineer for the Machining Division will also be responsible for looking at part drawings if needed to manipulated or changed for the CNC to run the part or programmed. They will also do tooling and fixture designs as well.

• 20% will be long term activities/projects (preventative, expand process, mostly the planning phase)

• 30% implementation of new processes and new equipment and change processes (hands on, carry out projects after the planning phase)

• 50% problem solving, investigation, troubleshoot, put out fires,

Must Have:

1. Associates Degree in Engineering/Technology Minimum (Prefer Bachelors)

2. 4+ years of experience in Process optimization / improvement / root cause analysis from manufacturing environment

3. Plant layout or modeling software experience in Autocad or solidworks

4. Knowledge from heavy or industrial equipment, motors, winding, or wires.
