Job Description

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will support a variety of project types, including residential homes, apartments, condos, industrial, commercial, retail, restaurants, fire stations, religious facilities, and more. The incumbent will work in an office of 10+ engineering professionals, with guidance and leadership from tenured engineers and designers. The responsibilities will include assisting engineers in the design process by developing plans, developing sections and elevations, redline markups, and evaluating shop drawings. The incumbent will also perform calculations, size equipment/piping, BIM clash detection and resolution, work both independently and with team members on design projects, including inter-discipline coordination. The role will also involve providing oversight, training, and mentoring to less experienced designers.

Hard Skills

• Experience in MEP design (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC)

• Proficient in Revit or AutoCAD

Soft Skills

• Ability to work both independently and with team members

• Ability to provide oversight, training, and mentoring to less experienced designers
