Who We're Looking For

The Financial Systems Sr Analyst will join a talented global team of tax, accounting, finance, and data professionals and play a critical role in leveraging data to drive business value, improve decision-making processes, and gain a competitive advantage in today's data-driven world. Candidates must possess the ability to think critically and creatively to solve complex problems for a global tax department operating in today’s rapidly changing environment.

Some Of What You'll Do

  • Assist with the build out of data repositories for use by the global tax team.

  • Assist with the extraction of financial data from consolidations tools and other ERP systems.

  • Build and maintain Alteryx workflows using Alteryx Designer and Server.

  • Analyze large datasets, draw meaningful insights, and make data-driven decisions.

  • Collaborate with tax team members to brainstorm data solutions to ensure the accuracy and detail needed to complete task.

  • Cleanse and preprocess the raw data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness. This includes handling missing values, removing duplicates, standardizing formats, and resolving inconsistencies in the data.

  • Maintain and develop robust and dynamic validation procedures that provide users and reviewers with confidence in the dataset used being utilized.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance tax process efficiency and effectiveness, including tax automation and data analysis initiatives.

  • Create clear and informative workpapers, templates and visualizations to communicate insights effectively.

  • Engage and collaborate with external advisors where appropriate.

Requirements

  • English proficiency required (C1).

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or data analytics.

  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a professional services or corporate tax environment.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel is critical for this role.

  • Proficiency and prior experience with the Microsoft Suite of applications and tools including, but not limited to SharePoint, List, Forms, Power Automate, Visio, Teams, and others.

  • Proficiency and prior experience with Oracle EPM Cloud, Alteryx Designer and Server, JD Edwards and other ERP systems is a plus.

  • Proficiency in SQL or other coding languages and database solutions (PostGreSQL) is a plus.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, remote, and dynamic work environment.
