How Will You Contribute to the Company?\ The Head of Employee & Executive Communications will be responsible for the overall employee communications strategy and program for Ericsson\'s nearly 2,000 Business Area Enterprise Wireless Solutions team members across the globe, as well as for overseeing internal and external executive communications for the business area head and key senior leaders.\ \ The ideal candidate will have deep experience leading teams and organizations through significant change and counseling leaders on communicating complex and challenging topics. This is a highly visible and collaborative role that works closely with executive leadership and their teams to support business objectives and engage employees through effective, measurable communications.\ \ This leader will report to the Head of Marketing & Communications for the business area and manage a team of two. It requires someone who can design strategic plans while being willing to roll up their sleeves and produce high-quality communications.\ \ What Will You Do?

  • Design and implement a strategic communications program that supports the organization\'s business goals
  • Create an engaging narrative and messaging to weave through ongoing communications and to support leaders in their communications with employees
  • Oversee the business area\'s employee communications program, including monthly all-employee meetings, leadership messages, Viva Engage community, articles and the intranet
  • Provide strategic communications counsel to the business area head and other leaders, as well as develop supporting materials, including talking points, presentations and scripts
  • Develop and lead communications programs around strategy, business successes, culture and transformation initiatives in partnership with business leaders from across the business
  • Provide communications counsel and guidance to executives through issues and crises
  • Measure and report program outcomes and adjust as needed to improve results and the employee experience
  • Stay up to date on the latest best practices in employee and executive communications and implement as appropriate to enhance program effectiveness
  • Collaborate with the Ericsson Group Function communications team on projects and campaigns
  • Support global communications initiatives by localizing for business area employees
  • Coach and develop team members to help them meet their career objectives

\ Qualifications\ Minimum Qualifications:\ \

  • Bachelor\'s degree in English, journalism, public relations or a related field
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years senior level corporate communications experience, preferably including internal, external and executive communications
  • Experienced people manager with a focus on coaching and developing talent
  • Exceptional executive presence and management
  • Creative thinker with extreme attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a diverse, fast-paced, global matrixed environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities with tight deadlines
  • Potentially up to 25% of travel
  • While there is a primary location listed on this requisition, other locations may be considered
