As a ID1 Warehouse Manager at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be part of Micron’s US manufacturing expansion team and will be responsible for establishing and implementing best practices and leading their adoption and implementation at the ID1 site.

Your objective is to drive world-class warehouse performance at ID1’s warehouse operations by implementation automated warehouse capabilities, streamlining warehouse software management systems, aligning Best Known Methods (BKMs), and providing oversight to the third party logistics provider (3PL) that will be manage the daily operations of the warehouse.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manages 3PL for accurate inventory management, on-time and accurate order fulfillment, resource / space management, process compliance, cost efficiency and operational excellence.

  • Establish metrics to measure 3PL performance that are aligned with Micron department KPI.

  • Conduct regular reviews with 3PL to monitor and manage their performance.

  • Support continuous improvement efforts to optimize process, manage cost and improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Manage a Micron team that works with 3PL and Micron internal teams to resolve issues affecting the daily operations execution.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders (Procurement, Production, Finance) to understand and meet customer needs, optimize inventory levels, and minimize stockouts.

  • Oversee implementation of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other technology solutions to maximize efficiency and data-driven decision making.

  • Manage and develop the ID1 warehousing budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Conduct regular audits and performance reviews of local warehousing operations, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing corrective actions.

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives in warehousing operations, focusing on areas like safety, efficiency, and cost optimization.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent professional experience

  • 10 Years of recent warehouse/logistics experience

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across diverse teams and cultures.

  • Ability to manage a complex and fast-paced environment with a focus on achieving results.

  • Fluent in English both verbal and written.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in warehouse operations management.

  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing warehouse teams.

  • Demonstrated expertise in warehouse processes, inventory control, and best practices in semiconductor logistics.

  • Strong understanding of warehouse automation and WMS technology.
