The Business Process Analyst (BPA) is responsible for assessing, optimizing, and streamlining business processes and systems within Micron’s Sales Operations team. This role includes identifying inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas needing enhancement in existing processes. BPAs work closely with Business and IT Stakeholders to develop solutions that meet business goals, objectives, and process improvement metrics. They also produce various deliverables across the Define, Develop, Deploy, and Sustain methodology to ensure alignment on business process improvement projects. With Artificial Intelligence (AI) transforming our work, many of the time-intensive deliverables created by BPAs can now be automated into an AI-driven resource library. This shift enables teams to concentrate more on critical thinking, understanding pain points in different processes, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to solving problems quickly.

Join Micron's Business Process Excellence Team as an intern and play a key role in embracing AI cutting-edge technology to analyze our existing Business Process Management (BPM) Playbook. Help us in our AI adoption journey to transform our time-consuming deliverables into an “AI-powered Accelerator” to improve how teams plan, analyze, predict, model, and manage business processes, leading to enhanced productivity. You will gather and examine the BPM playbook resources to spot business opportunities and create AI models to generate baseline value stream process maps, current and future-state process flow diagrams, systems context diagrams, use cases, user stories, micro-learning process training materials, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation, and communications.

This internship presents a unique chance to support our Business Process Excellence team while gaining practical experience in developing AI-driven resources to optimize and accelerate sales operations business processes and productivity.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze BPM methodology playbook deliverables by phase.

  • Participate in discussions on business process improvement requirements and problem-solving.

  • Use AI and analytics to:

  • Develop data-driven insights and key assets to assist BPAs in thinking, analyzing, and collaborating for stakeholder alignment on process improvement objectives.

  • Create AI-powered resources like, micro-learning training materials tailored to the solution design, produce and update Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) documentation, etc.

  • Assist in drafting program and project communications.

  • Support Business Process Analysts in various projects.

Learning Opportunities :

  • Gain knowledge and experience working within a Business Process Excellence Team.

  • Learn to apply AI tools and techniques to create valuable insights and resource templates, while helping the team identify related BPM applications.

  • Develop skills in Business Process Analysis and AI.

Education :

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business Process Management, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Operations Management or a related field.

  • Knowledge of using AI-driven analytics tools like Copilot, Seismic, ChatGPT, Gemini, or similar

Skills :

  • Understand Business Process Management (BPM)

  • Project or Program Management

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Basic understanding of AI tools and applications

  • Strong written and verbal communication

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational

Experience :

  • Experience in Business Process Analysis is desired

  • Data Analysis is not required, but a plus

  • Must be a current student, and must not graduate before September 2025
