This position offers a chance to actively contribute to the development of world-class technologies that will shape the future. Job duties and responsibilities include the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Lead equipment hardware projects with suppliers to meet future process requirements and timelines

  • Understand the root causes of excursions and implement solutions, including (but not limited to) defect excursions, poor coating uniformity, or other track-related issues

  • Drive track installation projects. Engage with suppliers, Micron's facilities team, and our engineering team to define track configurations, and manage the installation process

  • Build new track recipes for new memory parts. Optimize recipes to meet manufacturing requirements for performance, defects, and cost

  • Work together with teams from different departments to establish equipment specifications and design requirements for photolithography processes.

  • Develop and maintain advanced photolithography equipment to ensure flawless process integration.

  • Conduct equipment performance evaluations and identify areas for improvement.

  • Install, test, and qualify new equipment to meet strict quality standards.

  • Address and resolve equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime.

  • Work closely with vendors to successfully implement equipment modifications and upgrades.

  • Train and mentor junior engineers on equipment operation and maintenance.

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the advancement of departmental goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • Proven experience in photolithography equipment development and maintenance.

  • Strong knowledge of photolithography processes and equipment control systems.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ambitious and driven to compete in a highly competitive industry.
