The primary purpose of the position is the coordination of collaborative efforts of the Student Conduct program. The goal of the program is the retention, persistence and graduation of students through responding to and managing student behavior. The position also supports the administrative and adjudication functions as they intersect with the Housing and Residence Life program.

The position administratively supports the student conduct program and adjudicates high level misconduct that may result in suspension or expulsion of a student and/or removal from residence halls.

Essential Functions:

60% of Time the Student Conduct Programs Coordinator must perform:

  • Administrative Oversight:
    • Responsible for various conduct processes and liaising with other units to ensure appropriate facilitation through frequent communication
    • Manage communication for SRR email accounts
    • Compose a variety of correspondence, including sensitive, confidential, official communications, and/or documents
    • Review daily security and incident reports received and file or route as appropriate
    • Coordinate alcohol/drug sanction modules; assign and verify completion of incoming first year students alcohol/Title IX training modules

25% of the Time the Student Conduct Programs Coordinator must perform:

  • Project Management:
    • Process and analyze data to produce reports about conduct programs for internal and external partners
    • Provide grant management support
    • Manage operation and access to student conduct systems, including Advocate, Vector Solutions, Qualtrics, Google Drives

10% of Time the Student Conduct Programs Coordinator must perform:

  • Adjudicate student conduct hearings, manage case files, consult with the office of general counsel as appropriate.

5% Time the Student Conduct Programs Coordinator must perform:

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Exercise discretion and independence in applying policies and procedures
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication
  • Ability to work efficiently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines
  • Advanced organization skills
  • Professionalism, courteous interpersonal skills and experience dealing with sensitive and confidential information
  • Technological skills using databases, Microsoft Office programs, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Google Suite, etc
  • Ability to research, compile and summarize data for reports

Minimum

Qualifications:

Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Master\'s preferred. 2 years relevant experience. Salary and Benefit
