The Marketing Portfolio & Reporting Manager will report to the AVP, Portfolio Oversight and will be responsible for function-wide reporting, supporting strategy and operational planning efforts, leading marketing team training and development, and special projects.

Key Accountabilities:

Portfolio Management & Reporting (50%)

  • Manage timely and accurate function-wide reporting including the monthly marketing review (MMR), monthly campaign report, bi-weekly CMO update and other ad-hoc requests.

  • Partner with Global Marketing and US Segment Finance leads on budget planning, monthly expense reviews, headcount planning and managing cost center approvals and changes.

  • Provide support for Marketing Strategy & Operations Planning.

  • Serve as Business Continuity Lead for the US Marketing and Behavioral Insurance teams.

  • Primary point of contact for all US Marketing compliance and risk review requests.

  • Liaison with real estate (i.e. assign workstations, notify of technology issues, etc.).

  • Provide All team meeting & AMA support (e.g. decks, slido).

  • Support with USLT, ELT, Board Meeting, Investor Day decks and GMLT offsites.

Portfolio Management & Strategic Projects (50%)

  • Lead small- and large-scale Marketing and Behavioral Insurance projects. Partner with team members to drive Manulife/John Hancock's transformation and strategic priorities, represent the team on cross-functional work, identify issues, escalate as required, and recommend solutions to keep priorities on track.

  • Executive Presentation and Updates - Develop executive level presentations and reports to communicate progress, achievements and challenges related to delivery and execution of strategic projects.

What we are looking for ​:

  • 7-10 years of progressive business analysis and/or project management experience supporting large size and critical projects

  • Superior understanding of business, operational, and sales processes

  • Expertise in evaluating feasibility or practicality of ideas and options, assess risks and trade-offs and, make informed and timely decisions

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with proven ability to engage stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization

  • Confirmed digital acumen and experience in prioritizing and handling multiple initiatives simultaneously

  • Ability to facilitate and enable clear, succinct communication between cross-functional partners

  • Strong relationship-building skills to build effective working relationships with business leaders

  • Ability to identify and drive opportunities for continuous improvement across the program

  • Ability to coordinate the objectives and work efforts of stakeholders in matrixed environment

  • Strong understanding and experience with business analysis and/or project management methodologies

  • Thinks analytically to break down moderately complex issues into smaller, manageable parts With support, is able to discern the most critical pieces of larger analysis

  • Clearly communicate results of work of moderate complexity to business partners and clearly articulate solutions to senior team members.

Salary & Benefits

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.

Salary range is expected to be between

$86,325.00 USD - $155,385.00 USD
