Boston University RESEARCH TECHNICIAN, School of Medicine, Biochemistry in BOSTON, Massachusetts
The Cifuentes Laboratory at the Boston University School of Medicine is looking to recruit a research technician to conduct experiments directly under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI) and other senior personnel in the lab. Approximately 85% of the time will be directly allocated to research and spearheading new projects, while the rest of the time will be devoted to the maintenance of the fish colony and the laboratory supplies.
This position is tailor-made for individuals that are eager to expand their research knowledge and skills. The Cifuentes lab is a vibrant and dynamic lab that conducts multidisciplinary research in the field of RNA regulation. Therefore, is the ideal research lab to gain experience in a variety of cutting-edge techniques while being mentored in a research career.
Required Skills
The ideal candidate will have an inquisitive approach to science as well as excellent manual skills. Prior research experience in basic molecular biology procedures is preferred. The successful candidate will integrate into multiple teams and projects, therefore great organizational and communication skills are a plus.
